Keep renovation materials in separate loads

Plan hazardous waste and prepare access

Set paint, thinners, propane tanks and used oil apart from the ordinary junk pile. The City lists these as household hazardous wastes and directs residents to keep hazardous products out of curbside garbage and drains. Ask CRSC about any product you cannot identify. [2]

The City lists free household hazardous waste disposal at the CRSC depot on Wednesdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you want a hauler to transport these products, confirm the specific items and destination in writing. [2]
